Will be giving up our 7 year old Fortuner in the next month or so. I actually have 3 friends lined up wanting it:ROFLMAO:

Id me wants to get the Ford Explorer in black... though superego me is telling me just stick with the Fortuner again, the new 2021 one, the Fort served us well with not a single headache (same as the Grandia which is now on it’s third year).

Great review but for 2 million that diesel better match at least the old diesels of Toyota and Ford in HP.

Not that I have the cash to buy one, but.....Whatever happened to that 7-seater Subaru SUV that was supposed to be released around this time of the year....

The Subaru Ascent (Evoltis here / asia) will be launched either end of the year or early next year. Was waiting for the new Subaru Outback which has taken Motor Image so long to bring over here as well.

So most likely for next year - i'd be evaluating between the new Kia Sorento and the Subaru Outback (most likely both at the price range of 2.4M).

For the Evoltis - probably it would be at a slightly higher price bracket of 2.7M to 3.1M (i think). But hopefully it would be priced competitively so it would be in the same comparison with the other 7 seater SUV's of the other makers.

    oh,ok!

What’s the big Honda 7-seater called? Honda Pilot? Is that sold locally? I’m thinking the Evoltis would be priced around that range too?

Hehe Sorento for hauling people. But being a Subaru fan boy, I fantasize over the Outback XT

You might also want to consider the 2021Kia Carnival/ Sedona. It’s already being sold at Auto Access.

If ASEAN trade deals and tax exemptions applies to mass market car manufacturers, I don´t see why it wouldn´t for Porsche. The only cost added would be if the country of destination has extra taxes for sports cars and (gas guzzling) engines.
