Hi guys, have a dilemma. I just created a website for all my underwater videos (this website by the way is not hosted by .Mac) and since I am running low on server space, I decided to place my other videos on my .Mac homepage / iDisk public folder. I then just provided links to these movie files in my site.

There's no problem downloading the files if you use a Mac but if you use a PC, the file always comes out as a .hqx document and not .mov, which it's supposed to be. An example of the link is below:

    http://homepage.mac.com/carlo_deleon/.cv/carlo_deleon/Sites/.Public/Movies/Mainit_Twin_Rocks_2005.mov-binhex.hqx

Notice that if you click it using a mac, it downloads the .mov file fine but when I use a PC, it becomes a .HQX file. Although you can use winzip to uncompress it, some people don't know this.

Is there any way I can configure my iDisk's public folder to not do this? I tried taking out the "-binhex.hqx" extension in the link but it only showed a page not found error.

    Thanks in advance guys :)
