    Had a quick chat with a Suzuki SA. According to him the top trim GLX’s introductory price is just going to be between 1.1- 1-2M. If this true, this might be a better buy than the 1.5M Nissan Kicks or the 1.7M Corolla Cross Hybrid.

    its a mild hybrid. the only benefit you'll get is coding exemption.

    It will boil down to fuel consumption. I’d like to see some actual reviews. It this ends up as fuel efficient as the Nissan Kicks then it’s worth considering. This is after all an MPV, it can accommodate 7 people.

    the current Ertiga has the best FC among its local rivals. but asking 20km/l from a mild hybrid is too much.

    the electric motor only supports the ICE, it cannot run on EV mode (not unless you're driving downhill - this is for Okavango owners :LOL:)

    very tempting... I can live with a car that does 9-11km/l in the city (which is realistic for this car) but remember that since the Ertiga is a hybrid, its exempted from coding.

    The pricing is accurate. It was just confirmed to me by a Suzuki SA. He said that current test indicates 30 km/L on highways. Of course this is coming from an SA, it might exaggerated. ;);)

    not even the Kicks and the Corolla Cross can reach 30km/l (real world + average driver use)

    Have seen various "first impressions" on YouTube of the Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid. Anyone here owns this vehicle? What is the actual driving experience?
