This reminds me of what Austin Powers' fajah Nigel Powers (played by the immaculate Michael Caine) said : "There are only two things I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures... and the Dutch."
Over the past few decades, ang dami nang nag shutdown na manufacturing plants dahil sa KMU (Kilusan ng mga Ulol).
Read this on David Pogue's iphone 6 review and seems appropriate to put it here. He writes: "The answer, of course, is that cellphones are deeply personal. When you buy a phone, you’re making an expensive bet. You can’t easily switch between the Google and Apple worlds; you’ve invested a lot in accessories, you’ve bought apps, you’ve learned that company’s software conventions. And you never want to think your phone is inferior, because then you might feel inferior. So you wind up taking a side in this phone duopoly. You join a very silly — and unwinnable — religious war." I find this statement to be true. Our phones must probably be one of our most functional and valued object next to our house and cars. No one likes being questioned about their choice. Some people just feel the need to bash the alternative to make them feel better. They have no intention of being swayed but only seek confirmation for their choice. Anyway I applaud people who can just ignore these bashers and walk away.
Siguro sa akin lang to and i dont intend to hit anyone or be arrogant, but some of the bashers are those who don't want to spend/purchase or can't afford a premium device. Why would I buy a Lambo in the Philippines despite of its bumpy roads and hellish traffic? Because I can afford, right?
"Belief" by John Mayer Oh, everyone believes In how they think it ought to be Oh, everyone believes And they're not going easily Belief is a beautiful armor But makes for the heaviest sword Like punching under water You never can hit who you're trying for... We're never gonna win the world We're never gonna stop the war We're never gonna beat this if belief is what we're fighting for
iPhones just works out of the box but either I can't afford it or I just don't wanna have my wife messing around my phone... that's my take on the iPhone She uses iPhones but a Windows laptop user... I went android and mac. Works like magnets
Dealing with apple basher is easy, just ignore them. Their loyalty probably belongs to samsung and blackberry.
I am an apple basher on certain products On Macbooks- I love the OS but hate the idea that it can only be on an apple computer do I have a choice No... so I just live with it.. On iPads - love the battery life along with the OS On iPhones - not really interested with them. if i have 60k to spend on a phone like iPhone 6 I will probably add some couple of thousands go for the porsche designed Blackberry, at least its a premium phone..... but then again i am a blackberry fan
^um, those 3 are apple's major products not just "certain products"... Oh well, to each his/her own...
15 Things Every iPhone 6 Plus User Is Sick Of Hearing No. 9: "It looks like a Galaxy. Apple always copies them." It doesn't looklike a Galaxy. Galaxy's are for poor people. Ouch, this one is sharp and it stings. Read more: http://www.rantlifestyle.com/2014/10/03/15-things-every-iphone-6-plus-user-is-sick-of-hearing/
With so many iPhones nowadays you can also say they are for poor people. Please let's stop this Apple is expensive myth. Makes us users look mababaw and petty If you really want to feel rich get a Vertu
somewhere out there, in a less cooler forum than PhilMUG, is a thread that reads: Apple fanatics and how to annoy them
well, it's not an entirely fair statement, but it has credit to it. android gives a level of customizability that the iPhone couldn't hope to achieve. that being said, Apple still has the best ecosystem and integration across products. something that Android can only hope to achieve. maybe in a few years, if Android really puts some effort into it, they might. but not as the way it is right now...
My officemates make yabang they're "power users" on their Samsungs because they're able to download torrents. *yawn*
Android "power-users" typically unlock bootloaders, root phones, and install custom roms, even build apps. Then there are the ones who play with config files, write scripts, and build their own roms. The next level would be the weirdos who compile their own kernel.
