i have watched the last 35 super bowls live. that said, i have great respect for the game. salute to the pats for coming back!

regardless of who wins, it'll be remembered as the first and only super bowl to go OT!

and a lot rode on that OT coin toss. let's go!

my only consuelo is that brady's only losses (two) in the super bowl were handed by my giants. :D

i won't get into futile GOAT debates. bradshaw and montana never lost in their superbowl wins.

not the most exciting super bowl on a minute-per-minute basis. but this was, no doubt, the greatest super bowl comeback ever.

no doubt, they earned this. and that hairline catch pretty much summed it all, ala tyree helmet catch.

    congrats to the patriots!

^precisely why GOAT debates are futile. Because Bill Russell has 11 rings. Yogi Berra had 10; how many did Red Sox's Ted Williams have? None. Case closed. Besides, my Yankees have 27—almost as much as all your New England NBA, NFL, MLB teams combined. :p

but hey, with that win, brady can come out now and support trump again. :D

Teka sir Roland, bakit napasok Yankees dito? We're talking about NFL GOATs right? Hehehe!

Kidding! Sige na, the Yankees is the GOAT!

I'm no NFL fan but wow, that was a really great ending! Love the montage showing all those Superbowl highlights from yesteryears! So much history!

I love TB12 the GOAT... and I respect TB12 the "political animal." Shouldn't we all? At least in this NFL thread? hehe!!
    Peace!

Duh. :p My point is any GOAT claim in any sport is futile. Does Berra, who has 10 rings, make him GOAT? Because there's Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, Joe Di Maggio, et al. Ditto for basketball. Russell has 11; MJ only 6.

Which is why I never proclaim anyone to be GOAT, in any sport—especially *team* sports.

Enjoy your win. Pats handed the Falcons that familiar feeling: Deflated. :p

No lead is truly safe anymore...

Whether it's a 3-1 lead in the NBA Finals
A 3-1 lead in the World Series
A 3-1 lead in the NBA WCF
A 3-TD lead in the Super Bowl
A 3-1 lead in the NBA Finals
An 80+% probability of winning the US presidential election
A 5-stroke lead going into the back 9 of the Masters
Or a 3-1 lead in the NBA Finals

yup, GOAT on team sports is 'tricky' , there's just too many variables. as they say, to compare players from different era's would be folly. but we can't help it, we compare & that's all there is to it. maybe i'm not a true blue sports fan, but i never get aversions to specific players and/or teams. le bron? brady? cowboys? celtics? i just don't get it. can't we just enjoy the games without dissing teams / players? but i guess "where's the fun in that" no?

basta ako alam ko 'in' ako kanina

disclosure: i only have 2 NFL caps (parehong kupas na). one of course is my top team (since 80's): Broncos. i have 5 NFL shirts (pats, broncos, packers and just 5 years ago; colts & falcons - when i started following Luck & Ryan). so earlier, i really felt bad for Ryan.
