Took an additional line from globe 4 years ago and chose a number whose last 4 digits was my birthday. Unluckily, it was a recycled number and the previous owners seems to have an affinity for estafa cases. For four years now, I regularly get calls from collection agencies and law offices asking to speak to the owner of the number. They would not believe me when I tell them I am already the new owner of the number and suspects that I am just hiding the "estafa queen". Globe really hasn't helped and just tells me to block the caller. After 4 years, I just try not to get annoyed when I get those calls and sometimes just prank them and have a good laugh with the caller.
This is so true my second line from the time activated got enormous spam messages and even called by banks, so it was so clear that I was given a recycled number it took 1 month for them to change my number as per policy such a crap I have to suffer that long. Then I was offered a new number with prefix 0977.
Just received a "spam" message... Win and iPhone 6S or iPad... Just need to SMS Cardo to 2600... Seriously Globe... Not even a 6S Plus or an iPhone 7!!!
