Anybody experiencing the same thing? I have YM always ON... but then it always restarts by itself... it will log me off then log me on again without me doing anything. It's really annoying cos it happens every single day.

my YM is version 3.0 beta 1.

    thanks!

Yup, nangyayari din sa akin yan. Sa powerbook ko sa bahay. Pero sa G5 ko sa office minsan lang.

yes mate, that's 'normal' also have same issue at home. like i mentioned on previous thread (this has been raised before), there's a reason behind the "BETA" thing;)

It's fine with me. This may not necessarily be a version issue but due to intermittent internet connection we're experiencing. It happened to me last week in the office (Bayantel) while its working fine at home (SmartBro).

it could also be the connection. my YM and iChat are always on (well, my iChat since about last week, I think, because DJ put me up to it) and they log off simultaneously sometimes. YM signs back on automatically (if you set it that way) but iChat doesn't, largely because I have not tweaked the settings at all, being an ignoramus about iChat.

I use smart bro, by the way.

Just an update on this problem... i tried disconnecting the wireless phone in my office... and now it's working way better. No more random shutdowns and restarts.... well at least for the past 2 weeks. So it's my internet connection after all.. thanks guys!

this happened to me as well with ym especially if I have alot of apps opened and my cam is on as well. thats why I just stick with ichat. anyway it has jabber...pretty much you just need to find out servers that support ym, msn, and AOL in order for you to connect to them.... :)
