I don't know why my yahoo messenger and ms word always opens everytime i start-up the ibook. I've tried changing the preferences for it not to open automatically but it's not working. is there any other way for me to change this? it really bothers me that both apps open automatically since i don't even use them often. help please. . . .
Unselecting the open automatically option in the preferences pane should do it. If it doesn't, why not reinstall both and deselect the auto start option during the set up process?
Hi Nuggets Just go to system prefs...click the user icon...and select the primary account that you use and you will find a startup items list there. Just uncheck those programs or delete them from the list. That should do the trick!
