iOS devices sync fully integrates to Finder instead in macOS Catalina. That answers all the worries of local backups. Whew!

I laughed at that $1,000 Pro Display XDR monitor stand. Classic Apple. :ROFLMAO:

Probably why its 6K. 5K for the monitor, 1K for the stand.

Mmm.... the speculation did not pan out: iTunes is not dead yet (at least for PC users). Apple made it better by taking the best of iTunes and porting it to 3 separate apps: Music, Apple TV and Podcast....and the backup function of iOS data is now part of Finder under Mac OS Catalina. In short, iTunes will still be there (at least in spirit) in the foreseeable future but with the separate, streamlined apps, who'd want to use iTunes? You can still buy music from the iTunes store, if you prefer to own your music forever.

Instead of a Thanos snap decimating our mp3s of Culture Club, MJ and Madonna, iTunes will simply fade away in the background.

Our MP3s (remember those?) are safe for now.

I'm not sure if you guys noticed Craig Federighi's demo iPhone was a Jetblack iPhone X/Xs? Bec if it is and there will be one, it would be real cool.

hmmm, belkin and twelve south has been selling S$200 stands for quite sometime...

I guess Apple Tax+Apple willing to stretch the limit on how much people are willing to spend for their devices = $1,000 :)

Mm...cheese-grater inspired front grill or not, it is not for aesthetic only. It was engineered to make sure that the new Mac Pro 2019 will cool off in the most optimal manner. This workstation will run very hot because of the components inside, so keeping it cool and keeping it quiet while the Mac Pro effortlessly spews billions of pixels (it can process 3 8k vids simultaneously and spit it out without breaking a sweat) was a challenge and the cheese grater is part of the cooling solution.

As for the price, again, this is enterprise or pro level. The top specd Mac Pro is said to cost USD 35,000.00. You buy these things so you can afford to buy a USD 350,000.00 car.
