7/10 - a wee bit too long but still a lot of fun. There’s plenty of homage/influences to Donner’s Superman. The mid credit scene is a cameo from an 80s icon. No references from any upcoming DCEU movies. Looking forward to watching this on the big screen.

Agree 7/10. Fun, a bit too long, started better than it ended. But my Lord, Gal Gadot looks yummy!

Mm.. 7/10. Nice action scenes. Was it too long? I feel it was just right specially after being deprived of movie watching in a real theater since the start of the pandemic and my projector room is a close-enough substitute.
Streamed the movie through Apple TV 4K. No issue. Smooth all the way. I ve read of reports of choppy video when streamed through Roku machines (something about the HBO Max App and Rokus not playing nice). For VPN, I just used Getflix.

In keeping with 2020, WW84 was a disappointment for me. The story was all over the place and it was dragging. The plot of wishes was whimsical and weird. It's a poorly written script, which is surprising since this movie took so long to come out. Despite the stretched run time, Barbara and Diana's friendship of a couple days seemed rushed. Kristen Wiig was miscast for Cheetah. She was trying to be funny and later sexy, which Wiig is in an understated way, but this was a poor fit for her. Pedro Pascal was given little to work with resulting in overacting to compensate, and he was upstaged by his misbehaving wig. Gal Gadot is still pure eye candy and stunningly gorgeous, but she has aged significantly since first appearing in BvS. If they're going to make more WW movies, they better hurry. Chris Pine looked nearing middle aged, which was quite a feat for someone who was dead.

Tad bit too long. The plot is predictable, maybe too focused on the antagonist.

And the sfx/cgi is really bad.

    7.5/10

While I do appreciate Patty Jenkin's effort to transplant a TV-show esque plot line into a major blockbuster (elegance in simplicity), there are some serious lack of character development especially with Barbara Minerva's Cheetah (I'm a Kristen Wiig fan so this might come off subjective).

I kinda liked the way they subverted people's expectations with regards to the ending. No need for any more bloodshed to get their points across. Maybe it fell flat because of the premise and how there are no real consequences (within the franchise and DCEU in general) if it's reversible by uttering a phrase.

The 6s and 7s I am seeing here are even too high, IMO.

I can't believe that movie was written the way it did. Wishes???

What a way to un-do what would have been a great franchise to counter Marvel's.

Just finished watching it. The story felt like it was made for Darna, not Wonder Woman. It was predictable, and all over the place. It was a hoot watching, but then after 2.5 hours it starts to sink in why it’s like the previous disappointing DC movies.
