I used to use WindowFX with XP, and since I switched to Leopard, i've been itching for an app that kinda works like that. for those who don't know windowFX, here's a sample video in youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTlCBPN45L0 The preview vid here is a bit ostentatious, all i want is for my windows to fade in and out whenever i hit the red button... or whenever i launch apps. I ask this now because I came across this http://pimpmysafari.com/plugins/slider-12 (see sample video below) http://www.chatelp.org/SliderAction.mov Slider's official homepage is here: http://www.chatelp.org/?page_id=8 But it's only for Tiger Is there any app out there that works just like the Slider app for Leopard? somebody help please?
WindowShade X... it says it's not compatible with 10.5 but there's a beta for 10.5.. i've used it and it works.. ^_^ not free though...
yeah. i've been playing around with our pc with vista and i must admit, i'm jealous of all the window effects they incorporated in vista. i wish there was a way to make it so with leopard.
Leopard looks so much sexy and beautiful on its own. Those effects would just take a toll on your system performance. No eye candy can beat a snappy system, IMO.
I've been there and done that - WindowsFX that is. IMO, I'd rather have Leopard's built-in cool effects than have a third party. As suavecito says, graphics effects will just eat memory and processor power. I don't see any other apps out there that offer a Wow effect on top of he stock Leopard effects that Mac users can fancy. Don't you just love the Expose effects especially viewing multiple video windows and an visualizer running at the same time?
you'll get over it bro. you dont need to spend on something that will not last. especially pang effects lang. get to know your leopard OS and be awed at what it can do. its beyond show. shalom.
