Just wondering if Globe Tatoo will work. I have an older Globe Tattoo model, the red USB stick. I haven't really tried it out yet but if it doesn't what are my alternatives?

I have a Globe Tattoo that works with my MBP 2010 running OSX Lion. It also previously worked under Snow Leopard. My guess is it will work on your MBP 2011,

there is a DMG (mac installer) inside the globe tattoo. so just auto run it, tattoo would recognize that you are using a mac and a mac auto installer would run.

If you're running an e1552 model of Globe Tattoo and you want to use it in OSX Lion, then you need to upgrade the firmware and the dashboard software. Check this website to download the update...

I just updated mine last night and it worked like a charm! :)

Yes. If the built-in driver doe not work, you can download a generic driver on the website of the modem distributor (e.g. Huawei, ZTE). But it will not have the logo of the local telecoms but of the modem vendor instead.
