Hello. I was wondering if somebody ever tried using an XBox 360 Wired Controller for gaming on the Mac? If I'm not mistaken, this comes with a USB 2.0 connector. Somebody did try this on the PC and it worked. When Microsoft did a soft launching of Microsoft Flight Simulator X, one of the gamers who demo'ed FS X used an XBox 360 controller to fly his plane. Now, I've been thinking about getting one for the MacBook, once it arrives. As much as I wanted to get a joystick for Flight Simulation, right now I'm in the marker for something more portable since I intend to take it along with me when I'm mobile.
most USB peripherals that conform with standards work on a mac.. otherwise, drivers are needed.. there are drivers here and here which should add support for the xbox 360 wired controller..
