Good day! This may be a noob question to you all, but please pardon me since this will be my first time to setup a wireless extender/repeater in our house.
So I bought a cheap one from CDR King, the wireless setup with the main router works flawlessly, but the problem is it (the extender) still doesnt have an internet connection even after "pairing". My question is, do we have to enable WPS in order for the main router to feed connection to the extender? Isn't risky to enable WPS since it can be accessed by brute force using free software downloadble in the internet? Or am I missing something on the setup?

My router is a PLDT Home, black.

    Thanks in advance.
