I just noticed this as well. I was initially scratching my head trying to figure out what this meant then I found this thread LOL. Haven't tested it though.

Wi-Fi calling is working on my iPhone 6 Plus (SMART) but not on my iPhone XS Max (also SMART).

Yes I have 2 postpaid lines with Smart. I tried it on my sister’s iPhone 7 Plus and Wi-Fi calling is not working.

Glad to know may naka confirm na working yung VoWIFI, It looks like hindi lahat eligible.

So for now, I would say #SanaAll hahah lol

I think corporate customers are also NOT included in the initial roll out. On my iPhone 7, it is still not enabled. But YMMV.

My OP6 is also not yet eligible (non-corporate).

im on a signature plan. And i have a regular plan from smart. VoWifi is working on both. According sa friend kong working sa smart, this is location based. There are some areas na working na ang VoLTE ng smart.

For me, I think it depends on the SIM/plan. I have 3 phones: XS Max on a regular Smart postpaid, Galaxy S8+ also on a regular Smart postpaid, and a 6 plus on a Globe prepaid. WiFi calling works on my Galaxy S8+ but not on my XS Max. I transferred my Smart SIM from the S8+ to my 6 Plus and XS Max and WiFi calling worked on both phones. I transferred my SIM from the XS Max to the S8+ and 6 Plus and it didn’t work.

I’m on the plan 599 on the S8+ where WiFi calling is working and on the 1999 plan on the XS Max.

Buti maman yun kasi yung update na nakuha ko sa Smart Infinity hotline. Which is sad, sana nag Signature nalang ako. Ok na ako sa VoWIFI kasi walang signal gaano yung Smart sa location ko.

and yes VoLTE is currently geographically restricted.

Mine is working, called a globe number on airplane mode and it went thru. Can even send and receive regular text messages on airplane mode. Smart postpaid here, XS Max.

With the feature enabled, what parameters dictate whether to use the traditional mobile voice channel vs VoWiFi?
