MobileMe, for me, is worth it. I love the @mac.com email address and it's going to be for keeps.

I have been using MobileMe for the past 2 months or so. I'd definitely say its worth it, after they fixed all the havoc when the service was first launched.

I use it mainly for business but also for convenience. Push email is very good for work. Managing contacts between my 2 iphones and my MBP is a lot easier, just change in 1 device and the others will get updated! :)

These are the 2 main features I really love. I'm starting to use the online storage more nowadays, so that will also be a plus for work/play/whatever you want to use it for.

I'm also wondering the same thing. Is it truly worth it? other feedbacks and inputs there?

I've been a gmail fan and all my online needs are taken care of by gmail (for free!). I'm not entirely convince if I should have another email address.

I also use gmail, but mainly as my personal email add. Though I still use it for business use too.

Mobileme is not plainly just "another email address" though. Push email has been a great tool for me when I have to communicate with suppliers from overseas. Syncing of my 3 devices (2 iphones and MBP) is also a big plus because I only have to change info on 1 device. This will make more sense if you have a desktop computer somewhere in the office/home.

In addition to this, you have online storage (10gb if I'm not mistaken) which means you can have access to important files securely, where ever you may be.

So I guess the service comes down to whether you're on the road enough to make use of its features or not. Generally, for personal use, gmail was sufficient for me. But for business and since I travel a lot, I'd say mobileme is definitely worth it.
