Yeah, this is for my own benefit but for others who have the same question too!

Who do you trust when it comes to screen protectors?

Some are scratch resistant, some are cheap. Who is the winner in your hearts?

EDIT: if you voted others, please specify what brand are you using and how much is it.

I installed invisibleSHIELD but the results are unsatisfactory. edges come off and no longer stick to the phone.

    I wish I had mine G-Masked instead.

I removed the front screen cover (did it myself) of the gmask because it is too slippery for my hands (I get more typos) and it's too blurry. I just left the chrome part and the back part so that I can buy other screen protector.

I used Bestskins once. Good protection. But rough to the skin and turned yellowish thus darkening the screens after a few months. Now, my iPhone is naked.

G-Mask also has the same results over time, plus the way they install it on the iPhone, it made my keys a bit depressed than it should have (nabaon ng kaunti yung volume keys and Lock/Power Key).

But it did the job of protecting it agaisnt scratches. I'd like to try InvisibleShield this time though...

Where did you have yours gmasked? It's not like that on mine. unless they are using a super thick film, hindi naman babaon ng sobra ang keys ( pressable pa naman)

these skins can protect your phone from scratches but it cannot protect your iphone from dents and falls.

Yes sir, I learned that the hard way. Haha!

Oh and rdy3029, my buttons are still pressable but its just lower than normal which can be annoying if you're OC like that. Had it done it Galeria.

And I didn't have my screen G-Masked, just the crome bezel and back casing for scratches. I really want to keep my iPhone as naked as possible.

Yep :D hehe, I removed the screen cover by cutting the side of the chome ( ung parang may lubog) then pulling it, it's on there pretty tight din. I'll be expecting my BSE a day or two from now and a Cozip might do no harm.

i used invisble shield from day one out of the box & so far, the edges haven't come off yet & its been 5mos. na, i had my back part gmasked, as well as the chrome and it looks really nice, but really slippery, so i put a cozip on ;) gmask is NOT recommended in front screen because the resolution & clarity gets disorted. but if i had to choose just 1, i'd still go for invisible shield...if only they could make it so its reusable it would be great! :)

Hey guys, I just wanna give an update and review about BestSkinsEver. I just installed one on my iPhone and let me just tell you that it is awesome! Installation is easier than it seems in the instructions, and it's just the perfect skin in my opinion!

If you want the perfect clear skin for making your iPhone as naked as possible with enough protection from scratches etc., BestSkinsEver is the one for you. I'm also thinking of bringing it home to Manila when I get back next week. I'll just post in the market place! Just PM me if you want one :)

A friend recommended BestSkinsEver but he said it can only be bought online in the US.

Are these protectors available in Manila? Where can we buy these? Thanks!

its not really scratch proof. i removed the original screen protector and replaced it with the one from invisible shield. after a few months of use, it kinda turned yellow and the edges were attracting dirt because of the sticky parts of the film.

so i decided to remove it. at first i was amazed on how clean and scratch free the screen was after a few weeks of having no screen protector, until earlier today when i noticed a few scratches. :(

so be careful guys. im going to get a screen protector again asap to avoid more scratches. HTH :D

I have used the BSE on my former-iPhone.

It was the best choice due to it's price.

The BodyGuardz and the InvisibleSHIELD are overpriced, and much overpriced if you're going to buy from a fellow Filipino here in the Philippines.

A BSE skin for iPhone/PSP/iPods will only cost you about 400-500pesos. Unlike the other two which you can get them for like 900 and above.

When you installed a BSE or an invisibleSHIELD, don't forget to clean it. It will turn yellow if you don't.

I bought both InvisibleShield and Bodyguardz from abroad recently. The Invisible Shield just feels thin and slippery. I got scratches on it quite quickly. I replaced it with Bodyguardz and I noticed the feel of the phone with it is really awesome. Not too slippery, just right. Used it for a few months already and as for the discoloration, it's just a shade darker. But it's just a shade of grey, which is much better than turning yellow. Still looks good. :) Just make sure you don't put it in your pocket for the first 72 hours or else the edges will curl a bit and you'll keep collecting tons of dirt on the edges. The box comes with two sets too. I'll surely get Bodyguardz the next time around.
