^Or I can buy just the ready-made hummus and add my own homemade ingredients to spice it up...thanks guys!
Mm..most of the spices you can get from supermarkets or from Shopee or Lazada. Juniper berries not available.
In the midst of Ash Monday, we got to try your recommendations to eat hummus at Hummus Elijah in Kapitolyo but it was full. So off to BGC and dining at Cafe Mediterranean which was surprisingly quite empty. Where have all the hip diners in BGC gone?
i dont know if i should post it here because it is technically not an ingredient but it is a prized assistant when preparing food. What brand of MANDOLINE would you guys recommend ? i know that one of the most popular is the all stainless steel BRON but the newer ones now have more attachments and advantages over the old school BRON. whats your preferred MANDOLINE and why ? if you can include year of purchase and price even better
Mm...the cheapest one I can find online. Lol! Works well and cheap enough to replace without feeling the cost once it becomes stained.
^ Where can I get reasonably priced truffle oil, preferably less than 1liter. The ones sold by Santis are over 1k.
you can get good quality ones in landers (or snr, I can't remember whiich of the two). Or you may also want to try sa Urbani Truffles sa ground floor of gateway (near the exit going to coliseum)
anyone know where to buy fresh curry leaves ? I would like to add this to my next salted egg shrimp recipe. or better yet where can i buy a small plant
Thanks to everyone who suggested places to get ingredients for my homemade hummus. I did try making one last night, and it came out not quite that hummus-y haha. Must’ve scrimp on an ingredient or two. Maybe after a couple more tries it’ll come out good.
Where can i buy Mentaiko/cod roe in QC? none in shopwise and robinsons near me so far, don't recall seeing any in rustans katipunan. TIA!
Mm...ebi roe is easier to find. For cod roe, contact either Fujimart (they have a branch in QC) or New Hatchin in White Plains.
thanks raypin, right before i opened this thread i looked at lazada and shopee and you are right , lo and behold they have fresh curry leaves.
