Yes for some reason MS is not announcing it in their website, still states the limited install. But this is lifted since this article at https://hothardware.com/news/office-365-changes And I can confirm this. We installed it in all our laptops, ipads at home (wifey plus kiddo) I found it in one article info sheet in MS but cant seem to find it for now. If you have lots of people using it at home. This is the best buy (Home) for your family.
And you are not sure of the privacy and after a while MS will detect it and inform you that your account will be deactivated and you need to transfer your files.
one good thing with the O365 subscription is that you're entitled to get a newer version of Office once they release plus you get max of 5TB (1TB for every user) for every members that you add in your subscription. The only downside is that OneDrive is uber slow.
I use MS Office 2019. Stand Alone is still the way to go... rather than a "subscription" I get regular updates etc.
Do you get feature updates or just stability updates like support for Big Sur etc? That's the difference with O365 kasi.
Subscription storage is like an addiction. Once you exceed the free storage space, you really can't cancel willy nilly in the future. I'm only on iCloud 200GB because Apple remains stingy with the free storage. Amazon is running a free $50 GC for every purchase of MS365 Family 12 month sub. ($99). This is quite a steal! Caveat: GC is delivered by mail. Which is an excuse for me to send it to my relatives in the US https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08NYWXPCS
i purchase my office 365 subscriptions at 25% of the SRP by buying them from people who post their unwanted subscriptions on bulletin boards. Most electronics stores bundle one year of MS365 for free with a new laptop and people sell them online instead of activating it on their machines. now i'm prepaid until Feb 2022 but I'm always keeping an eye out online.
^ Ah ok. As far as I know, volume licenses issued to companies pretty much get everything. I wonder if it's the same thing for retail purchases of the standalone products.
hahaha. I agree, I'm still upset that we're loosing Google Photos next year! I can't imagine once I max out my 1TB OneDrive. *** Was just looking at my O365 again to see why I chose it over the one-off purchase. My 365 is provided by the office, daughter's 365 is provided by her school. Wife's office device comes with 365, but I'm paying for her personal devices (Windows+Mac) Subscription allows is to install up to 5 devices and almost unlimited on mobile devices!
Anyone tried this? https://productkey.ph/product/micro...65-professional-plus-for-15-devices-lifetime/ parang legit na hindi
It's probably a legit key if you fit within the terms & conditions of the license. Microsoft offers bulk licenses to large organizations and manufacturers. These are charged a fraction of a licensed boxed copy or consumer copy. It's similar to how PLDT Home is priced differently from PLDT Enterprise when it comes to fiber internet. Want 100Mbps? It's 2899/month and 36 months on Home. It's 6,300/month and 24 months on Enterprise. Now, I would not buy that product key if your computer is for a business. The anti-piracy people may still charge you for technical piracy. If pang bahay lang... then you have little legal fear. Will Microsoft go after 1 unlicensed computer?
