I saw some BookArcs at PMC branches before. About a couple of years ago. Try checking them out and see if they still carry it.

I've been looking for it but I end up buying in Amazon.

Btw...close lid is no longer supported if you are running 10.8.2 and up.

I'm also using my MBA 2012 11" right now with external monitor, bluetooth keyboard and wired mouse. I have the lid closed. I'm currently running OSX 10.8.4.

You literally just plug in an external monitor dongle (thunderbolt to dvi, or hdmi, or whatever your monitor is) and make sure your bluetooth keyboard is paired up and connected to the MBA. Once that's done, close the lid and watch your MBA go to sleep. Then wake it up from the bluetooth keyboard. You're good to go!
