Thanks, bon! I'll see if I can drop by Shakey's tonight. This thread is making me hungry.
I also love the Greenwich Sisig pizza. I think they discontinued it again.
@wari: If chu meant Taste of LA then yes, this is the place for ULTRA thin crust wood oven pizzas.
@chu: If the name is indeed LA Grill, I would like to try their pizza out. May I know where this is?
If in Clark, Angeles City go to C' restaurant.. order the Panniza it's a combination pannini and pizza. Guaranteed it's the best you'll have.. The resto was highly rated by lots of foodies. Enjoy!!
Oh yeah, and Cafe Med has good pizzas as well. They use pita instead of pizza cruz=st so ultra-thin and cruchy!
My mistake, it's Taste of L.A. Cafe!
I miss Roundtable, too! Even the crispy potato skins that they offer!
@hannibal: Yellow Cab has a veggie pizza, but I don't remember what its called. Domino's had one before too!
nothing beats pizzahut!
@Hannibal: I am now looking at a Yellow Cab menu:
Under Specialty Pizza:
GOURMET GARDEN: zucchini, grilled eggplant, fresh tomatoes, black olives, capers, mushrooms, onions, red & green bell peppers
Under Classic Pizza:
GARDEN SPECIAL: fresh tomatoes, black olives, mushrooms, onions, red & green bell peppers
All this pizza talk is making me hungry...hehehe!
D'Mark's Mad Scramble!
There's this pizza parlor near the corner of M. Adriatico and Padre Faura that claims to serve the Philippine's biggest pizza.
I actually didnt believe it until I saw their delivery crew carrying it. It takes two person to lift the box. It will bend and fall off it it were carried in the delivery bikes pf pizza hut and shakeys. I'll try to snap up a pic of it when I drive around that area.
Is this the Shakey's one? I saw a sample pan (pan lang, no pizza) at Shakey's Rockwell when I was planning to bring pizza to a friend's inuman. It takes 2 days lead time to make and costs somewhere along the lines of 3 grand. But the pan was huge, I think it was about 3 feet (?) and serves 50+ people.
I think it's basically four square pizzas assembled in a 2 x 2 grid to form a larger whole.
