I second this, too, their oven-baked garden thin crust for me :)
(A Taste of LA used to be along Wilson, called Pere Armand, I believe.)
For fast-food pizza, Yellow Cab's Garden or Gourmet Garden (and their Charlie Chan Chicken pasta).
    (kakagutom ulit) :p

Have been hearing about the Don Bosco-Makati place and Amici's. CPK has lots of choices, too.

    OT:
I just think Filipinos have a knack at cooking. We bake good cakes and fine bread, serve very good coffee, blend fine ice cream (Arce's is tops), make wonderful burgers (check out that thread), make pizzas and pasta and whip up any foreign recipe like no other Asian can. Must be our history and adaptability and love for eating. :)

a lot of those mentioned in this thread sound expensive, so do you have any strong recommendations for a stingy vegetarian like me. i love pizza but i abhor the meat, and i don't mind a relatively cheap kind as long as it tastes authentic.

    thanks in advance :)

The pizza at Taste of LA is really good. Kaffee's correct, their oven-baked thin crust makes their pizza to die for! :)

    My vote for this too!

In Pampanga, Clark, along frienship lane, there's an italian resto called "C". (Yeah, just the letter "C"!)

    They serve "panizza"...

It's a pizza with ultra-thin crust it's almost like a crepe (but much thinner). Crust almost looks like a thinly-sliced prosciutto or parma ham.. You can roll it like a lumpia, put some arugula (and some other leaves) in it, and bite into it's herb-accented fillings! There's plenty of options and you can make your own mix! Kinda pricey you can say, but it is worth it!

    Uh, me hungry. :)

    My Old Time Favorite:
    "Friday Special" @Shakey's
Key ingredients: Cheese, Mushroom, Shrimp & Anchovies.
Thick or Thin Crust, it's a different experience for either! ;)

Unfortunately, they don't offer the Thick Crust & they don't make them like they used to anymore. But if they do though, it's going to be my #1 Pizza to order again. :(

    My Second Old Time Favorite:
    "Magoo's Favorite Combination" @Magoo's
    The Original Square Pizza! :p

    My Recent Favorite:
    "New York Finest" @Yellow Cab
    18-inches (squared-cut into 32slices).

@booblanco I was trying to, but too dull to figure out how. I read the FAQs and couldn't find instructions. Maybe the mods can do the poll if interesting enough. But based on the responses, seems like a lot of muggers have cult favorites...

    Il Ponticello's 4-Cheese
Brooklyn's with Anchovies, Pepperoni & Mushrooms
    D'Mark's Pizza Pro (old school)

    :)

Edit: Also, CPK's Peking Duck pizza, which for some odd reason, they don't serve anymore.

Yellow cab! I love their four cheese, NY classic and Pepperoni and mushroom. And especially since they now have a 24-hour delivery service. ;)
The rest are tied for my number 2: Di marks, Pizza hut's stuffed crust pizzas, Napoli's New England's best, and any of the thin crust pizzas of Shakeys. I still have to try Sicilian.

  17. Magoo's forever. Greenwich na rin for that nostalgic Pinoy Pizza taste. I don't like Pizza Hut, feels like chewing gum after 15 minutes...
