I usually do all my online news reading on Safari, and lately it's been taking up more and more of my time So, I'm playing around with RSS readers (while Tiger, with Safari RSS hasn't shipped yet) like NewsMac and NetNewsWire Lite. While trying to configure my channels, I got overwhelmed by the number of Mac related sites, and would like to narrow them down to just a few important ones. What channels do you guys recommend for the following categories: News Rumors Commentary Help/support

Hi guys. I just jumped onto the RSS bandwagon yesterday after having realized it's importance to people like me who scour various sites taily for news & features of interest. Anyway having subscribed to almost 15 RSS sites already I am just curious, What RSS sites are you guys subscribed to?
actually i dont even know how RSS works? can someone give an RSS 101 for all the newbies here (or atleast a link). i have an idea but i dont know how to start. like should i have a specific program to be able to read them & how do i subscribe to 1? hope to learn more from you guys.... thanks in advance AS
