I use Trendnet. It extends my wifi from the third floor to the first floor.

I'm using 2 different models of Asus to extend the AEBS. One for the guest signal and one for the main signal. Both work just fine and easy to setup.

I was planning on getting a repeater when PLDT changed our modem to their wireless router/modem. It has a very weak signal compared to the belkin router we were using before the modem change. I googled if I can actually use another router to extend the signal and there are a lot of tutorials. Not all routers support it though, luckily I still got here an old school linksys wrt54g router that now acts as our repeater at home.

Hindi ba problematic ang buffalo. Whenever i switch the router to bridge mode, i cannot access the router's address. 192.168.11.100? There are also instances that I need to reboot the router coz it cannot relay any internet access.

A very reliable solution that I use is to put another wifi router in the area you want to extend the signal to and connect it to the main router with a long ethernet cable. Usually when you are trying to extend your wifi coverage into another area, the signal is already quite weak there. Therefore trying to extend the coverage wirelessly is difficult.

In many cases, running a wire is the best way to go. PC express will sell you wire at Ps6.50 / meter, connectors at P3.50 each and charge Ps 40 to crimp a pair.
