What is the standard warranty policy for repairs in general performed by Authorized Apple Service Providers (AASPs)? This is most relevant for repairs done for Macs at the end of their warranty period and for repairs on out-of-warranty units. I am asking because my officemate is currently having problems convincing Apple Singapore to repair a display defect in his iMac that came out again within 3 months of being serviced by an AASP. The unit's warranty period just expired. He is currently exploring options of just paying to have it fixed but wants to be reassured by PowerMac of a warranty for the repair they will provide.
