    how is the performance of the carens? the looks are ok but not sure if engine is ok. when i see kia kasi, i always think of the old pride.

    @ChrisF: I'm very satisfied with the Carens. An officemate of mine who owns a diesel Innova G found the Carens superior to his ride in terms of finish, cabin insulation and ride.

    as another possible alternative, try Hyundai Santa Fe or Tucson. CRDI of Hyundai is an outstanding performer in terms of fuel efficiency, "hatak", sound insulation etc.

    Thanks Raypin. But I find the Tucson a bit small for my needs. Santa Fe is really cool, actually perfect except for the PhP 1.5M+ price tag. :(

    ive heard a lot about high gas consumption of Escape. 6.8km/l?!

    my 2.7 Toyota Hilux is averaging 8.5km/liter.
