Another option is the all-new Hiace.
Just saying, if you guys just showed me the new 2020 Ford Explorer ST in screaming red, then I would’ve changed my mind. Damn, this one’s absolutely grand...
Who says you can’t exchange cars after a week? (Here’s looking at you, Ford Mandaluyong )
How's the NVH of the Terra?
When will the allnew mazda 3 be available here. Cant wait to get it. Sana very soon na as i have to replace my old one.
You mean Noise, Vibration, Harshness?, IMHO for me same with Everest, Low NVH, unlike my previous car which is (2013 Toyota Innova), you can hear the outside sounds...
Last January I bought an LXV the ones with the four captain's chairs. Then this launches...arghh.
My company just upgraded my vehicle to a BMW 320d. I’m not really into luxury vehicles as I thought these cars are just way overpriced, but after using one, I can say that the comfort is top-notch. Once you drive one, it’s hard to go back. My trusty old Subaru Forester now goes to the wifey and becomes our second vehicle.
Question on the auto engine start-stop mode: is it worth using this in Manila traffic? Won’t it accelerate the wear and tear of the car and/or battery? Or should I just turn the feature off?
I turn it off. The problem with that is when you’re stuck in stop and go traffic, it goes on and off and you’ll miss the the timing when it becomes frequent. I know it’s suppose to save fuel, but it becomes irritating a lot of times. It doesn’t seem to be made for PH traffic. You should try it yourself if you’re comfortable with it.
I will get my company ZS alpha (in orange) by next week. love all the bells and whistles plus sunroof that came with this sub 1 million crossover. company chose it over a Kona mainly because of the 5 year warranty.
I'll take her for a spin (if its possible) on tuesday
Isn't it you can manually control this from happening frequently by lightly stepping on the brake pedal so that the auto-stop function won't engage? The engine only switches off when you step on the brake real hard. At least that is based on my experience.
It should, and that's the idea with light stepping. Example, when you are making a right turn on an intersection, you need to fully stop because pedestrians are also passing, (engine will turn off) and when it's clear for a few seconds, you'll lose that window because the engine needs to start again.
Help on hacking mazda 3 to install android auto and car play. . cant seem to follow inst.
Yeah, well, you can leave the engine running by lightly stepping on the brake so it won't shut off. After full stop, slowly lift your foot off the brake but make sure the car keeps stationary. That would restart the engine. Depends also on the sensitivity of that feature on your car.
Planning to buy a Dad Car. Choosing between Ford Everest Titanium+ 4x2 for P2.05M (with 300k discount) and Nissan Terra VE for 1.7M.
Which is the better choice?
I'd vote for the Everest!
How is it so far? Thanks.
Turn it off if you're using it in the city often, it's practically useless in PH's setup. Not to mention that the AC compressor also shuts down after a while, then just turns back on to regulate the cabin temperature.
absolutely heavenly for a sub 1 million vehicle. Apple car play, sun roof, rides like a sedan, fits a 6 foot guy easily at the rear even if a six foot guy drives in front, blinding DRLs (love hate), exceedingly classy interior and adequate power.
