For only ₱17,500 (during T&L TeleCom's Shopee flash sale), I never imagined I could capture a photo of Makati cityscape and the Orion Nebula using just a smartphone and handheld, made possible by the ported Google Camera from Google Pixel 3.

They were right, with Google Camera, Xiaomi phones can indeed produce better photos than the iPhones.

For now, I am temporarily leaving the iOS ecosystem until Apple comes up again with a great device that is priced below $1,000.

Thanks to tips in this thread from fellow Muggers, I got an Anker PowerPort Speed PD30, with accompanying USB-C cables. When mobility is at a premium, the Anker charging setup atop the sheet of white paper on the left (this is good for MBP, iPhone, iPad), replaces all of the Apple chargers on the right.

I find I don’t use it as much anymore, as many of the desks I work on have outlets. If my work takes me offsite, yeah, I’m bringing that baby (y)

Nightmare device for me. It would freeze when you resume from long sleep. restart would fix it, hope a software update could fix it.

Hi there @SE20 ! Cost and size notwithstanding, would you suggest I get the Anker PowerPort Speed PD60 instead of the PD30 as shown here?
I'll mainly be using it for my 13-inch MBP nTB 2017 release, iPhone XS and iPhone SE. I understand it's backwards compatible (wattage-wise for the XS and SE) yes?

I was asking since my MBP uses a 61W USB-C Power Adapter and given the one you have here rated at 30W, it might be a slow charge as opposed to just getting the 60W outright.

The latest from @LightFixCutStore is this Sandman Clock. Can recharge an iPhone while you sleep. Works just like any other digital clock.

Play Metallica’s Enter Sandman on iTunes for greater effect ;)

Not sure about backwards compatibility, but yes, it’s a slow charge on my MBP. If I hadn’t been so quick to pull the trigger, I would’ve chosen the PD60.

I am also thinking of getting the PowerPort Speed PD60.

I initially considered the PowerPort Atom PD1 and the PowerPort Speed PD30. However, the 30W MacBook charger won't work on my Lenovo ThinkPad. The 61W MBP charger works. So i think the PD60 would be a better buy and more compatible with our devices (iPhones, iPads, Macs, other laptops). It is slightly bigger than the other chargers, but at least the prongs fold.

Just arrived. The one tool to use for defense, offense, any fence, etc. Cheap but worth it.
