Better late than never.
This is why I’d rather walk past APRs. I suddenly went home with this.
Good pm sir. Did you get the Fire Tv to work in the Philippines? Im planning to get one and i was told it wont work here. Just netflix and prime video to work would be fine
Yes it works here BUT your choices will be limited because of location lock. Netflix works so I am binge-watching on my tv using the app.
Thanks @manerdie for making me Smart
Got myself an Anker PowerPort+5 charger and a USB-C cable for my Macbook Air.
Keep me up till past midnight
Thats good to hear. I read somewhere that initial setup wont work.. the upgrade of software. I will just be using this to watch netflix and prime videos. When you say limited.. is it the same as the video contents that we have here in the philippines for netflix and prime video?
There’ll be a time when you need to pop this up and find that it’s actually impervious to wind, rain, water, dust and hard knocks. Also great for starting a cigar, or backyard pit (butane lighter included, of course)
I just got a Mi Desk Lamp which was given to me as a gift. I can't seem to get the Yeelight app on my iPhone to connect with the lamp. I followed the instructions to the dot and the connection still fails. Tried the Mi Home app and the result is the same.
did you check if you're connected to a Wi-Fi 2.4g connection?
Yes I did. Upon checking the Yeelight/Xiaomi forums, there seems to be a bug with the lamp's firmware which prevents the lamp from connecting on certain 2.4g wifi networks. I have to try to update it on another wifi network.
Try to hard reset the Yeelight using their onscreen instructions. It took me almost an hour to connect mine but breezed thru it after resetting. Also there’s a firmware update that you need to do first if you haven’t done it yet.
Mi products/ Apps are region specific try to change which country is supported.
My brother's Yi camera also won't connect to their app. It stated that we need to download the app from the Chinese app store. We did not bother so now it's just a glorified paperweight. LOL!
Some of our xiaomi products only work/can be detected with China server, so I just selected the China server for ease of use. This is on an android device.
