what apps do i need for my pbook?

    im just switch 3 days ago. got myself a 12 inch pbook sa US. So medyo wala pa ako alam and i was wondering ano mga software na okay install sa pbook ko. Ano mga important/ useful apps for my pbook thanks:p

    there's a long list, Version Tracker provides a daily doze of updates, new versions of cool apps for Mac.

    If it does come with an iLife, then you don't have to install one yourself.

    What I did install was MS Office for Mac (i bought the Student/Teacher version since it's more cheaper than the Standard version).

    So far yun lang softwares na nakainstall sa akin.

    You can get back issues of MacAddict or MacWorld magazines at BookSale or in any magazine stall. That'll help you catch up with whats goin on with Macs. They also come with CDs with lots of sharewares and demos. Just dont get the very old ones, although t may still help a bit.

    Hello Zagu! Congrats on ur new pb!! :) Always update ur software that's very important. For the applications, it depends on you. I have adobe cs and siyempre kailangan mo ms office. May topic na 3rd party applications na dinadownload ng mga taga Philmug. search mo sa mga forum. Hindi ko na kasi tanda kung saan ko nabasa eh.
    OT: By the way punta ka data blitz if u like games for mac. Just posted my reply in the forum.:cheers:

    Ah sorry nakalimutan ko download ka vlc player, bittorent, and igetter. Ok yan mga app na yan. search mo sa google. hehe :p

    just wondering do you guys have any idea if there is a site on the net that list all the softwares for mac? im on a HUNT mode right now. im looking for softwares. And ask my cousin to buuy it for me sa US :D

    Try Adium for your chat needs. I'm not crazy about the duck icon but the program's easy to use and works pretty nicely. Also there are a lot of add-ons available.
