True that. Not even the mighty Ondoy was able to submerge Las Pinas in flood waters (most of it at least). Zapote is the exception though. I bet that's flooded right now. Good thing I worked from home today so I saved myself the from the traffic and flooded streets of the Metro.
Ah yes, Las Pinas. I've lived all my life in LP and not once did I experience flooding. That's why during times like this, I always tell my workmates to relocate down south already. May Skyway and C5 na naman, so travelling from the south to north is a relative breeze. I would like to think that the city being plastic bag-free (along with Muntinlupa) has something to do with sewers not being clogged up.

Still pouring here in Manila (Malate/Ermita areas), as of 5:30 AM. It's been like this since around 5 PM yesterday, with occasional lulls. But the water's still high here along Adriatico St. Keep safe everyone. Prayers to those heavily affected by this downpour, especially in flood-prone areas.
Agree, reason we moved back to LP after 7 years in antipolo (ok sana antipolo but a nightmare pag tag ulan with marcos hiway, libis, dela paz, etc.). Last night, getting home was relatively quick thru skyway & LP's "friendship route". Only issue we had with LP before was water supply, but now with Maynilad operational, LP's now perfect, well not really Ulan na naman! Dilim! Our makati office called off work at 8am. No one should be out in this weather.

A bit OT guys but Malacanang palace has announced the suspension of private offices and my question is, is BPO included?
mmm...a short prayer against floodings....... Graciously hear us, O Lord, when we call upon You, and grant unto our supplications a calm atmosphere, that we, who are justly afflicted for our sins, may, by Your protecting mercy, experience pardon. Through Christ our Lord. Stay safe, everyone....
hhmm.. my sister who's working for Accenture was given an advisory by their company that all their offices are in normal operations and employees are even requested to work. and this is after the 10:00am announcement of Malacanang.
Thanks to Usec Abi Valte, I now have the papers to show our HR because they still insist that we go to work. Memorandum Circular No. 33-A, s. 2012 | Official Gazette of the Republic of the Philippines
