Here's the latest on tropical storm, Dildo, uh er, Dindo. I guess my weekend will get wet some other way.
mmm....thank God for that miss though I wish Dindo would boomerang and hit Panatag Shoal and sink all those foreign ships on our territory.
Nice to see more gov't websites making use of modern web tools/designs. Now, let's see the application in the real-world.
back-to-back weekend tropical storms. this one is off the coast, but it'll likely whiplash rain into the metro tomorrow.
same here in LP. 1 shattered glass candle holder left outside, had to take down & secure our parasol. took a hot shower after i hope the winds die down. ok lang sana tubig.
Rain is still pouring at this hour. Even if the storm is way up north, there's another LPA forming west of Iba, Zambales which further enhances the monsoon. Any chance this can lead to another "Ondoy-like" rains?
The LPA cross metro manila late last night to early this AM, after hitting Sierra Madre, it broke and dissipated. I believe it was responsible for some of the rains and strong winds not Gener.
Forced evacuation is now being done around Marikina River and Tullahan river. And to think these are just monsoon rains.
Scary, driving along skyway earlier tonight. Wind was blowing like mad and rainfall was crazy. One thing about las pinas, you seldom hear about it during nasty weather. While most of NCR's flooded / classes already suspended, LP is BAU. these times, i don't miss antipolo Stay safe everyone.
Most schools have called off classes, I'm still waiting to see if UP Diliman will too. While I can get to school since I'm brought there, I don't know how I'll get to my other classes around the campus. Anyway, stay safe everyone!
Unbelievable non-stop rain. I hope our friends in low-lying, flood-prone areas are prepared for any contingency.
