Hello, I'm new to this group and to Macbooks. I am thinking of buying a MacBook air m1 on Sw!tch but if they don't have a stock for macbooks with student discount, I would like to purchase it on greenhills. Some might suggest apple online store but I don't think I have enough patience to wait for 3 weeks especially that I am a student and I need to buy a new laptop as early as I can (due to schoolworks and requirements). This will be my first macbook so I don't want any problem in the future about the warranty. I would like to ask if apple will acknowledge my purchase from greenhills if in the future I need to use the warranty of the macbook (but i hope this wont happen)? And is JM Store legit?

Before you even sort to Greenhills, have you checked other authorized resellers? - Beyond the Box, iStudio, PowerMac etc... even Abenson selles Apple. And I'm sure you'll find a M1 MBA in these places... a CTO model could be a different story though.

Those are parallel imports and probably smuggled from HK/SG when priced below authorized Apple reseller price or Apple.com/PH price.

With the global chip shortage there is little incentive to offer any product at a discounted price locally.

BTB is offering the Air M1 256 at 54,290 for their 11.11 sale.
