Has anyone tried this yet? http://www.apple.com/downloads/dashboard/justforfun/wallsaver.html Download it while its FREE!
It's cool but another downside is that the menu bar stays the same and does not match the Wallsaver you set.
nice... like it. my wife showed it to me so I have it now on my MB. one more app to keep you glued...
Doesn't seem to work with me. All I get is a black screen. Not sure if using extended desktop matters.
That is odd. Looks pretty good on your end. I also noticed with this screensaver that whenever I test it in System Preferences, System Preferences shuts down unexpectedly when I wake it up from the test.
Thanks for the tip! As enshong said, it does eat a lot of processing power (33% according to iStatPro)... Nonetheless, great aesthetic value!
That's true though. The load spikes when it first starts but settles down after. It's 26% on mine. Still much but not enough to slow my system down on my regular use.
Although Wallsaver eats up some Mac resources, it's unnoticeable on simple tasks. But if your tasks demands more resources, you have the option to activate or deactivate it from your Dashboard. On second thought, its awesome while idle.
