Same here. I can't imagine how it would be, editing my photos, doing creative visuals and layouts with out my trusted tool, Wacom Intuos.

Have you tried installing the tablet on another computer and see if problem is still happening? (just to make sure the problem is with the hardware and not the driver) I also use the same model and sometimes nag biblink on off nga din yung light kahit malayo yung pen pero it goes away when I wipe the pad with a small towel.

Got an email from Ynzal the other day, announcing their month-long sale for Wacom tablets!

Other items (peripherals/accessories/hardware/software) will also be on sale during the same period.

    Best to check at ynzal.com!

I'm not sure if you can get the latest model with a budget like that but you can take your pic from any of the Wacom tablets here - Wacom Tablets : Ynzal Marketing Corp, All the right solutions for the Creative Pro.

    Good luck!

My daughter (middleschool) loves to animate and prefers digital animating. She's been drawing on her Nintendo DS making Flipnote animations and mentioned that one of her schoolmates has a Wacom Bamboo tablet so I'm looking into buying one for her. She makes wonderful animations on her DS and I'm sure with a larger tool she can create more plus less eye and hand strain. Trying to decide between Create and Capture, will visit the store later.

Create is better :) I use it side by side with my Intuos 5 :D ( for works that doesn't need much sensitivity /pressure on it )
please make sure you also get the wifi adapter for your device as it's better than having
it plugged via USB. I'm sure your daughter will enjoy it :) Good luck!

Thank you for the reply! We got the Create yesterday, I thought that would be the better option of the two...and that's the only one they had in stock at the store. :)

Got it set up with her Vaio on Windows Vista :)(), sat through the tutorials and she's been practicing on Autodesk Sketchbook Express. She asked me how to merge layers and of course I had no idea how to do that (Google to the rescue). She's been patient with the software so far and I like that there are apps available to add in the Bamboo Dock. I like the touch functionality too, i told her that if she didn't like it she could pass it to me j/k :).
Wish Wacom had a website where art/animations could be shared especially for children (like Fiipnote Hatena on Nintendo).

That's super awesome! :) I hope you didn't feel sorry because you weren't able to compare it side by side at the store since Create is the only one left :) haha Nevertheless, please be rest assured that it's all worth it :) Patience is what would make her a master someday. She could always share her works at facebook :) haha . The mom should prolly get one for herself too, a little mother-daughter bonding activity perhaps? :p I'm happy for your daughter. You just made a perfect pick, therefore that makes you the most awesome mom ever ! :D Cheers!
