depends on your budget. i use both graphire 2 and intuos 3. hands down the intuos rocks but a lot more expensive.

The Graphire 2 has been discontinued. The 4x5 Graphire 3 should cost you around 4k. I havent seen the Graphire 4 locally yet. And if my memory serves me right, the Intous line costs around 10k-up depending on the size

Graphire 4 is being sold at around P4K at Cyber Mall at Megamall. I saw it at Villman, Premium logic and at Octagon.

I suggest getting the Intuos 3 at least 6x8 in size. Its the best consumer professional tablet out there. Been using it for more than a year now and its really easy to master. Very flexible and more sensitive to pressure with tilt sensors. Since you are gonna use it professionally, go for the Intuos 3, and tandem it with Corel painter IX for the best digital drawing experience.

I agree with Suavecito. I used a similar product like the Graphire before and it really wasnt that good. The Intuos will be really useful.

been using intuos2 6x8. The sensor board got broken and replaced by ATI. After that incident, I still decided to get the intuos3 for personal use, this time just the 4x5. Perfect too for travelling since the size profile is just similar to my 12" pBook.

Sorry folks. My bad. I posted the wrong price.

The prices of the units still left with me are as follows:

    Graphire4 (6x8) P7,200.00
    Intuos3 (4x5) P8,900.00
    Intuos3 (6x8) P12,900.00

All units are brand new and come with a one year local warranty.

All prices are as low as they go. I'm just trying to unhoard the last few remaining units that I have in stock. The new stock that is arriving will be sold at a higher price due to a price increase from the distributor.

I would like to apologize for any inconvenience my previous erroneous post may have caused.

    Cheers!

    K

kaya pala..hehe. because i bought my graphire 4 for P7500 which would make the intuos price that you posted earlier (P7900) a real steal!

    I know... I know ...... My bad talaga :D

I was actually given the option of selling the stock with me at the new increased prices. I declined and simply chose to dispose of all the stock I have which are still pegged at the old price.

This is a clearance sale :D I want to start anew with units all at the increased prices just to make my accounting easier.

    Cheers!

    K

I agree with him. Get intuos and use Corel Painter IX if you're really gna do 2D illustrations.
