w550i won\'t sync with my TiBook...help pretty nifty, i like the form factor a lot, the size is really what sold me to it, but as of now isync can't recognize it...or at least doesn't work with it...and since all my contacts are in my TiBook, my phone books kinda screwed,,,,anyone with a suggestion, or program there that i can use to transfer my contacts from my book to my w550?.. by the way, i'm using 10.4.3 on this book thanks in advance, much appreciated [Edited on 12.4.05 by checkyoulater]
hey checkyoulater, you may want to change the heading of your thread as to get better replies. At first I thought you were just sharing about your new toy but in fact you were looking for an app. What version of Mac OS X are you using?
yeah i was actually thinkng of sharing a bit.... but i got that reply from isync and i completely forgot about sharing in that short time.... anyway everything so far is cool, the pics are suprisingly clear too, just remember it's a 1.3 cam, so don't ask for something special, hehehehe.....the sound is acceptable at loud speaker mode, the earbuds remind me of my long forgotten ex71, they konked out on me, only the left works now , i wish though the thing could sink properly then it'd suit me perfectly....still have=ing some difficulty manipulating the t9....will write an update on that, might be just user error, hahaha... yep, i'll have to go figure how to change the topic now...
what version of Mac OS X and iSync are you using? AFAIK SE phones are mostly compatible with iSync. Congrats on your new phone and I hope you get to sort out the iSync problem soon.
I have a w550i as well and it works with isync both on my ibook and pb. Though I also downloaded a 3rd party software called PhoneAgent.. some of the functions are only available when you get the full version but the free version is alright since I get to backup my contact list.. it's a nifty phone but the picture quality of the cam isn't anywhere near the 1.3mp it promises.. you can check out phoneagent here -> http://www.macmedia.sk/pa.htm
