VLC Media Player or Quicktime with DivX codec?

    Hi guys (and gals),

I get a lot of videos in DivX format and use VLC Media Player to run them. Would it better if I just installed a DivX codec in Quicktime? What would have better performance (and stability)? If it's the same, I wanted to delete my VLC sana so I can have less apps on my computer (sorry I'm OC).

    Thanks!

Well, there are times that I do not want to change the Region settings of my DVD - which VLC ignores and QT does not. :)
