hi guys , I know Mac OS is not as vulnerable as Windows platform but i still got a habit of checking my OS for virus, so I dowloaded Virex, a freeware software to scan my system for virus. After the first few times of scanning it, all is doing well until last night I saw several files that Viresx is not permitted to scan. Is this trouble? Should I start worrying? HOw do I fix this problem? HELP!

    See picture for details

Have you tried using disk utility to fix the permissions?

Hi -- it's not a problem. According to the McAfee Support Forum thread, those unscanned files are not meant to be scanned, and this is perfectly normal.
