Viewing photos full screen manually

    hi guys,

    is there a way to view photos in full screen and manually change pictures like in windows picture viewer? sorry ha had to mention windows :D hehe :D

    anyway, there are instances that i want to show some photos to friends and relatives without the bells and whisltes of iphoto. any way i could view them manually full screen?

    thanks.

    i tried searching but i think i am searching the wrong keywords and all.

    i think "preview" has the features you're looking for. same keyboard stroke for command+ (plus or minus) for zoom etc.

    Select the photo, right click and select slideshow. You can do the same with multiple pictures. Only works with Tiger. If you move your mouse while in the slide show, you can manually control the show, add to iPhoto, show thumbnails (a la Exposé) or exit the slideshow.

    When you do a Finder slideshow, are your pictures in random order? Mine seem to be and I can't have them appear in the order they're in in Finder.

    You can also try PicturePopPro, a contextual menu plug-in that lets you do more than just show your pictures. The menu is a bit non-Mac like (i.e., not very intuitive), but if you need to manipulate your files (e.g., move some photos to trash or to another folder, change the color labels, view the EXIF info, etc.), it's better than the built-in slideshow option in the contextual menu.

    slideshows from my "my pictures" folder appear as they are. however slideshows from any other finder window (photobooth, iphoto, etc.) appear in random. bug?

    hmmm... i tried doing the slideshow in documents and the pictures are in order naman... altho a change pictures manually... pero same lang din yun...
