How do you get Mail's sidebar to display the Outbox like Panther did? Thanks.

By the way, I use a Hotmail account.

    WHOA! Here's why:

    "Mail 2.0 Help

    Where's my Outbox?

Mail only shows your Outbox when you have email waiting to be sent. Email messages appear in the Outbox when you attempt to send a message when you're working offline, or if Mail tried but was unable to send a message.

Once the Outbox appears in your mail viewer windows, it remains visible until you quit Mail or close all of your viewer windows.

To edit an outgoing message or change the account you’re sending it from, double-click the message in the Outbox."

Great. I miss the old Mail..

been meaning to ask this also...

I noticed that you have to restart mail to be able to see which messages are sending... a huge hassle if you're sending mails with big attachements.

    Edited original post.

Outbox appeared when I went offline and composed a new email. It disappeared upon restarting Mail.

IMO, I don't like this new feature.
