My video camera needs to be replaced.

Had it for more than 5 years and best resolution it has is SD (640×480)

It's normally left during vacations since my action cam, P&S and mirrorless camera can all shoot in Full HD (1080)... My phone even shoots video in 4K!

Now I'm wondering, do I get a Video Camera than can shoot FHD? Or do I just get a P&S with extra long zoom?

Reasons why I'm still considering a dedicated video cam...

    1. It doesn't have the 30 minute limit of P&S cameras
    2. External mic (although some cameras have this option)
    3. Most mid range P&S shoot FHD in 24fps
    4. Video Camera is can easily operated with 1 hand (if you're right handed). It's also lighter.

Get the Sony RX10 II. It does all the consideration for a video cam except for the 30 minute limit. But it can still record right away after it reach the limit.

    ^Thanks for your suggestion...

I'm thinking of a Super Zoom that's less than PHP 20k... I already have an Olympus OM-D EM-10...
