I wonder if these are being sold locally - they look so comfortable! I know that I'll probably get some weird stares if I wear these to the office, but hey, I'm on my feet 7 hours a day, I think these would take some of the fatigue off my legs.

Here's a link to the seller's website. And here's a blog that features it.

That sounds like a good idea! But I like to try on my footwear, I'm really bad at getting the size right for my shoes!

Hi! Any luck finding a local store selling these? Am looking for them as well.

hehe yes, they're obviously best not worn on a date or to a board meeting. Am actually thinking of using them for running

    hehe that they are!

A year ago, I wouldn't even think of wearing one of these unless you had a gun pointed to my head. But with a lingering knee and foot injury, a desire to keep running, and numerous articles read about the benefits of going 'barefoot' (i.e. Air-less, Gel-less, Shox-less...), am willing to try anything.

I was also tempted to order this from the US because of the published health and running benefits.

Same as nre, I am willing to try this as well.

Anyway, I just saw on TMG that they were calling this the ugly "FOOT CONDOM" as there are celebrities wearing them. It certainly looks like it.

Still I am willing to try this.

holy trinity of ugly footwear would be crocs, birkenstocks, then the vibram 5 fingers... LOL

still the runners at the Pose Method of Running (which I use myself) approve of the vibrams. I personally don't use these but still agree with the ideology behind minimalistic footwear for running.

lawrencebosox45 how'd you learn Pose? Is there a running clinic here? Book? Video? I found it a bit difficult separating the chaff from the grain when it comes to Youtube videos.

Why are comfortable shoes designed to be ugly? But I'm still willing to give this a try as I can see the logic behind the design, it might good use for running but not for serious hiking (sole too thin?)
