Is there a software that can play vcd? I mean when you insert the vcd it will automatically play. thanks

i use quicktime to manually open vcds, if that is any help. but vlc should do the trick.

Seagull and MacVCD X auto plays VCDs when you insert them except that they are shareware. Give it a try though.
