Hey guys I just finished editing a video for our project via Final Cut Express. Now, when I try to use either Final Cut Express or Quicktime Pro to convert my .mov to .wmv, only the introduction is converted. [meaning, it's not the full video].. I was able to convert the video to .avi completely but the video quality wasn't good. Can anybody help please? :slanted:
the latest version of handbrake lets you convert from anywhere. **** heavy compression though. For example I used handbrake to convert some mpg files to edit in Final Cut. Rendering took an ETERNITY. As in one hour for 10 seconds. But when I used iMovie (though i had to force quit and restart it a couple of times) to convert it for Final Cut, FC handled the video brilliantly. Less than a minute rendering for 15 minutes of video.
Ohh I see thanks for the tips... I didn't convert my .mov to .wmv anymore.. I just included a quicktime installer. I was able to use handbrake .mod files (from a JVC camcorder) to .avi. Genius!
Quicktime can't convert mov video to wmv, even the pro version can't. I'd like to recommend this mac total video converter to you, it's not free, but it do can convert mov video to wmv video, hope it helps.
