No problems with BT pairing. Syncing works fine, Calendars, Contacts, the whole kit-and-kaboodle syncs a-ok.

I can send SMS via Address Book, calls even appear on-screen. But I can't seem to get my incoming SMS to appear on my computer screen (as it should, I think).

Has anyone managed to make this work?

Address Book and it's (supposed) ability to receive SMS from a properly synced mobile via BT. My apologies kung medyo hindi klaro post ko he he.

Anyway, ayun nga, hindi umuubra. Send ng SMS, puwede. Receive, no can do.

Negative. You use your regular mobile account for both sending and receiving SMS. At least in theory ganun dapat. Through BT ang interaction ng Address Book and your mobile.

Activate BT on both phone and Mac (previously paired of course), open Address Book then voila. SMS interactivity... supposedly.

Sa ngayon, one way lang ang pag SMS... puro outgoing. Pero technically dapat sana outgoing and incoming puwede.

Can the "basic" Address Book really do this? or do you need to download some additional plug-in?

This thread has some people who were able to have Address Book receive SMS via bluetooth. I've successfully tried sending SMS with my Nokia 6600 then, and my current Nokia 6300. But as far as receiving is concerned, that's another story.

I've given up hope since in trying to make Address Book receive SMS work. But if there's someone out there with step by step instructions on how to make it work, then I'm willing to listen :)
