Is there a way to restrict the uploads of BitTorrent on OS X?

But if you do that, your downloads will be really slow, AFAIK.

    It's actually directly proportional.

Ken is right. The faster your BitTorrent uploads, the faster your downloads (you're actually uploading parts of your download to other users). BitTorrent's way of preventing leechers from abusing the network. :)
