    Hi folks,

Does anyone have any experience with replacing or upgrading the hard disk on the Mid-2009 15.4" MBP?

This is the current model, with a one-piece bottom plate (A1286).

Can you just open the base plate to access the HD, or does the keyboard need to come off?

iFixit, which usually has teardown guides, doesn't seem to have it.

    Cheers...

The instructions are in the manual which is inside the small box together with the DVDs of your MBP. :)
The HDD is very easy to replace.

If you want to see step by step demo (like me), you can find videos on YouTube. I've always want to open my MBP pero wala pa akong pang upgrade ng HDD or RAM :)
