    is it just my aging eyes, or does firefox 1.5.0.1 seem snappier than usual?

    Yup! And I was pleasantly surprised when the update was automatically downloaded and installed (with my permission, of course) in the background on the Mac. I had to do it manually on my work PC.

    it is faster! and less of a cpu hog.
