Who's excited for the new Jimny to arrive? Looks sweet and very capable doesn't it?

Looks like the designers stole heavily from the Jeep Wrangler, Hummer H3, Mercedes G-Wagon, with some 70's Toyota Land Cruiser thrown in.

    I like it.

If Jeep, Hummer, Mercedes and Toyota sue Suzuki, they would have to get in line. :p

Mismo! But some of the styling cues most probably were inspired by the Samurai as well.

Re: Launch, word is late this year or early 2019.

I'm actually curious whether or not it'll still be underpowered just like the outgoing model, hopefully the turbocharged engine will bring a little bit of fun whilst on the pavement naman.

^ If the reports are true, the 660cc turbo model will only be available in Japan. The ROW will get the 1.5

Cool, we have quite a few Ford Everest users in Philmug pala! :)

For headlight upgrades, I suggest looking at Keon Sondra (just search for them in FB - while you're at it, join the Ford Everest Club of the Philippines na din on FB).

everest trend user here too, so far so good. we chose between this, mu-x, montero. primary consideration was space and comfort. everest won as it was the easiest to drive (steering is lightest). consumption is as expected of a vehicle its size

    Hi.

Here are the color options for this truck.

Hope it is available in the market before the year ends.

Who's going to Arca South tomorrow to test drive the Ranger Raptor?

BTW, the price will be announced later today.

seems like most of the people here had their choices between mu-x, fortuner and everest.

why exclude monterosport and the trailblazer on your choices?

I did include the montero in my list of choices. Matter of fact, I put my money where my mouth was and chose a GLS Montero to replace my old SUV. :)

Driving a 2016 GLS Montero here, approaching 40K kms. No issues whatsoever. Before this, the fam also owns a 2011 GLS-V. Yep, it’s still a montero.

It still looks actually like a Ranger FX4 wrapped in upgrades and mods.

But I still prefer its original grille than this hard plastic. And the front and rear bumpers need to be in steel for more badassery. Like this:
